May 10, 2008 - Cal Poly Pomona Wine Dinner (Kellogg Ranch - Pomona, CA): I did not get a good look at the label, so I have no idea whether the wine we tasted was this one or the Reserve Cask. In any case, this wine showed much better than I expected. Mature aromas of cassis, cedar, leather, and a bit or furniture polish (not Pledge). Cherry and asian spice notes on the palate make this wine both intriguing and delightful to drink.
