December 21, 2018 - I didn't enjoy this. It tastes like melted caramel, brewed coffee and milk chocolate. I actually like stouts but I have to be in the right mood for them but I am not sure I would ever take to this particular beer.

December 17, 2017 - Drinking very well right now. Probably at peak.

February 9, 2017 - Tracking well along its ageing curve. Drink Now or continue to Hold. For my preferences, remaining bottles are best consumed in the next year while there are still some bitter notes hanging around.

June 20, 2016 - Fyodor's Classic 2015 Series, batch #1: 2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout ale aged for 7 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. 43 IBU, 13% ABV; 500ml bottling dated March, 2015.
Medium+ body with low carbonation. Good balance of maltiness and hoppiness, with the latter making for a good counterpoint to the roasted malt finish, thus ending refreshingly. However, it's rather hollow on the mid-palate and seemingly lacking in complexity, at least at this stage.

February 4, 2016 - Officially three years old now. This beer is 13.9%, and is a BBA booze monster. Bourbon presence is strong, but it somehow maintains a smart elegance. Sweet bourbon/molasses tang, offset by a strong roasted malt flavor typical of Russian Imperial Stouts. Is ageing very nicely, and is nowhere near going downhill. Drink or continue to Hold.
