December 15, 2014 - Consistent with previous bottles, this wine is dark ruby in color and shows ripe cherry and raspberry notes on the nose. The mouth feel brought toasty oak, smoke and cocoa, all wrapped up in juicy acidity. The finish was short and choppy.

Purchased for $7.49US, I'm very much enjoying the 2012 vintage. My GF and I were purchasing the 2010 vintage by the case for everyday drinking. Other than some bottle variation and a few corked bottles, we loved that vintage and those bottles were more Oregon in taste. The 2012 vintage is a lot different with much more upfront fruits and heavier oak element. Still enjoyable and remaining as an outstanding qpr, the 2012 is a lot more CA New World in style. It's my go to wine for every day drinking.

October 29, 2014 - This bottle was off. It had a defined acetone element and the fruit was gone. DOA.
