September 26, 2018 - perfect with a red meat sauce over pasta. Started with earthy notes and as it opened in the glass the dark fruit flavors came forth. Surprisingly excellent.

January 14, 2017 - Tasty purple fruit (plum, cassis), good acid, nice tannins (even after 5 years), earthy slightly funky nose. Damn nice wine for $9!
