November 13, 2018 - Surprisingly fresh and fruity, but with enough backbone to make this dry wine substantial.

August 30, 2018 - Lots of dark berries flavour. Good balance, needs 1 hr decanting

March 23, 2018 - Wow once again. This wine evolves over the night. Upon opening it was juicy red fruit on the nose with some beautiful tannins and acidity on the pallet and a tannic finish. The acid on the pallet may overpower at first but this wine evolves and changes over the night. After an hour the nose show a huge amount of earthiness, oak, funk/rotted wood that is reminiscent of Bordeaux, and cassis. On the pallet is a mix of red fruit and dark fruit, currents, with a balanced tannic finish. Great wine. 92 points.

February 2, 2018 - Not sure what happened with this wine. Decanted over a few hours. Last review was excellent- this one fell short. I hope this isn't past it's prime. Red berries on the nose with some oak - not much more. Tart red fruit on the pallet with a tart/sourish finish. Not bad but not great. Better with food. I remember this being much different. Hopefully this is just a bottle variation. One more in the cellar to try. 85-86 points.

November 16, 2017 - Some more WSET wines: Surprisingly good. The nose here has a nice meatiness to it, with some high-toned fruit and a bit of cough syrup. It's definitely a bigger wine, but it's not blasted with oak. Not over the top, nor too hot, but showing quite true to what it is. I suppose I could have a glass of this once in a while...
