  October 18, 2013 - "2014" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/13/2013-10/18/2013 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {500ml, screwcap, 18%} Described as 8-yo on the label. Fresh nose of light honey and mead. The initially pungent palate has caramel and honey flavours; it’s quite concentrated, medium-sweet, with a medium/long finish. A fine example of fortified muscat, but easily outclassed by the preceeding Morris Rare.

  December 12, 2010 - Sweet toffee, caramel and raisin nose. Little touch of orange marmalade spice too. Rich, unctuous palate. Very warm and velvety. Coats the back of your mouth somewhat, with a very hot finish. Pretty good with a christmas pud.

  December 26, 2005 - A slightly oxidised, lightly maderised rich, raisiny muscat nose. Rich, sweet, raisiny palate, but very well balanced. A steal at the price (under a tenner for a full bottle). Very Good Indeed.
