September 7, 2014 - BYOB HT14#1; 9/6/2014-9/7/2014: #BYOB - Very divided on this wine. First impression is awfull. over-ripe nose of mainly cooked cabbage and funk. Palate is raw and unbalanced, high acidity, tart tannins and short on fruit. But with time and temperature the wine starts to grow on me. Very good length and out comes more fruit that gives an overall better balance. Will try tonight for a day 2 evaluation.
