April 18, 2023 - Somewhat disappointing execution for SRH - it is a thin wine, almost like a soft Beaujolais; we are talking 12.7% alcohol with light red fruit and some green pepper and musty funk (I don’t mean that pejoratively; funk can be good in the right amounts and in the right profile, but this one seems discordant.).

November 22, 2018 - Decanted and enjoyed from magnum at Thanksgiving dinner. Although the aromatics and flavors were excellent, I found the wine to thin and lacking body. In turn the finish seemed short. Good with the food, but overall disappointing.

November 17, 2018 - Aromatic and pretty right from the get go. Vivid cherries and candied rhubarb. Prim red fruit palate with soft texture and acidity. A lovely bottle to have opened with friends for a long evening.
