February 17, 2020 - Medium bodied, rustic. Bricked burgundy color. Spiced nose of dark red fruit, dried herbs particularly thyme and pine needles, some volcanics, bramble. Traditional but not a bold hermitage palate, notably mentholated towards pine/conifers and perhaps almost a green botanical medicinality after 3 hours. Plenty of minerals granite and iron in its core. Good balance and length, though tannins are still gritty.

Had the 2014 a few weeks ago, this is 2 years older but looks and tastes more like 6-8 years. In a good place, give it 45 minutes of air to open the finish — it gets quite rich. Too much time with air and it thins. Ready today, though will develop further with cellaring.

February 24, 2019 - Krotida Wine Gang Tasting, Marc Sorrel Hermitage Tasting (A for Athens): The colour is darker than the 2011 tried before.
In the nose the wine is very different as well, the fruit is denser, more gamey, meaty, small berried red and black fruit, graphite, black pepper, leathery, decadent.
In the palate, the wine follows the same pattern, powerful acidity but smooth tannins, rustic, full body, black olive, feels young, bloody/irony long finish.
    Outstanding quality

December 8, 2017 - Be changed good balance, smooth tannin long finish with spicy mint plum after 8 hours bottle breathing.

It shows great shape like accented French Syrah.

    February 12, 2015 - Clear.
Clean. Youthfull. Very aromatic and of a high intensity. Lots of red berries, forest berries, dark berries, cherries, flowers, some meatiness.
A fair bit of fruits on the palate, seems a bit lighter than the nose, med+ tannins, maybe a touch under perfect ripeness, very fine. Good balance, med acidity.
Good length on the finish, very charming. Good wine.
