January 31, 2018 - 1 hour decant. Medium Purplish red. Nose of oak, cedar and peonies flowers. Taste is very woodsy with high acidity and tannins. Some unripened strawberry and citrus. Otherwise, light on fruit. Dry but still smooth mouthfeel. Medium to heavy bodied. 90-91

  • Alpton Likes this wine: 91 points

August 10, 2015 - Super aromatic: ripe black cherry, blackberry, vanilla and Asian spices. Full bodied with layers of dark fruit and spice, round tannins and fresh acidity. Never-ending finish.

November 22, 2014 - Retailer tasting (Le Bouchon): In the bouquet dark forest fruits, spices and beautiful oak. On the palate beautiful dark fruit juice and oaky flavors as well. Beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Round tannin and a great length. 91 – 92+
