May 28, 2018 - Gained weight indeed. Initially I was worried on coravining a very golden colored liquid. Very rich and broad expression of chassagne with Meyer lemon and toasted oak. Has a hint of minerality but not a particularly linear wine. Clean and pure texture with a very pleasant finish

    May 14, 2018 - Wine Dojo - Week 10 - Because You're Worth It (Ken's Place): Tasted Blind

    A: Medium Gold
N: Medium (+) intensity. Apple, pear, peach, orange peel and as someone pointed out melon and honey. The fruit seems baked and dried. Fully Developed.
P: Aromas confirmed and add wet stone to that. Finish is quite tart. Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium (+) body and intensity and a long finish.

Drink within 5 years as this is fully developed and BLICt? Another Very Good to Outstanding Quality wine.

GUESSES: OLD WORLD as this is tart with noticeable wet stone. Cool climate judging by tartness and acid. Thought this was Chablis.

MISTAKES: Nope. I didn't see this as anything from that far south. I just think its an oddball. Maybe more wet stone expected if my guess were right. Will have to compare some.

April 10, 2018 - Lovely golden hue. Aromas of honey, wet stones, white flowers, and toast and marmalade. Sharply acidic palate, with great depth and purity of candied citrus peel fruit. Slightly bitter pithy finish. Might be inclined to try this with a fish fry.

November 2, 2017 - Deep golden color. Expressive aromas of honey, butterscotch, ripe stone fruits, and toast. Lush palate, very smooth, rich and filling. Balancing acidity, and plenty of length. Can really smell and taste the old vines. This is great stuff.

October 30, 2017 - Benchmark Chassagne. Has gained weight since first tasted two years ago. Solid streak of bold minerality, just the right amount (minimalist kiss) of oak. Prominent acidity, binding together a very enjoyable and classically made white Burgundy. Another one I wish I had purchased more of. Drink or hold, I can see this holding well for several years but drinking very well right now.
