February 7, 2024 - Medium to full bodied wine with dark berry and cherry aroma. Some tar and leather developing. Good tannins. Delicious. Drink or hold.

November 27, 2020 - Can’t remember drinking a Merlot better than this one. On day three, this wine is at its best. Chocolate, plumbs, pencil lead. Very good!

September 14, 2020 - Exceptional single vineyard merlot from Seven Hills Winery. Needs some air, so decant at least 2 hours or wait until day 2 to consume. Wine is a bit sweet when first opened, but turns dry with some air. Dried herbs, cocoa and plumbs. Great now and for the next 3 to 5 years.

March 28, 2020 - Slightly cloudy crimson. Violets, fresh plum, and cedar nose. Medium to full bodied, black cherries, blackberries, smoke, fully integrated tannins, baking spices, a touch of heat, and a sweetish, medium to long finish. Hits all the right notes.

January 14, 2018 - Fantastic! This wine is drinking beautifully right now! Full bodied and rich, long legs, some nice complexity mid-palate, dark berries on the nose and palate without being heavily fruit forward. Wish I had more than one bottle left in my cellar.
