December 18, 2006 - Nose is a nice black cherry. Color a medium ruby with no sign of age. In the mouth there is still quit a bit of hard tanin. Not over powering, but to me this wine is not ready to drink. Nice moderate fruit, I think, but the tannins are covering it up. Excellent length with good acidity. I will wait until at least 2008 to open another bottle.
