Community Tasting Notes 2

June 18, 2014 - I've previously tried and liked their higher end Pinot, thought I'd give this a try. Some oxidization obvious, nice classic Otago sour cherry nose and taste, with good mouthfeel. Sadly, the finish is abrupt, although it improves with time in the glass. Can't complain as I bought it on sale, but won't rush out to buy more.

May 29, 2014 - Tasted at a dinner with vineyard owner and actor Sam Neill. This wine turned out to be one of the wines of the night, comparing very favourably with other Two Paddocks and Felton Road Pinot Noir's and the lowest priced wine Pinot on the night at £28. Despite this I still have my doubts about the value.
