October 31, 2015 - Need to let this open for an hour. Funkiness disappears. Then enjoy a real bargain.

April 1, 2015 - Every time I have this, I am very impressed how easy it is to drink and go with the meal. Finding great food wines from 2012 may take awhile for most pricier bottles. Such nice cherry fruit and some leather from the merlot and darker fruits like cassis from the cabernet franc. Light oak notes have since faded and the only reference to them is the touch of bittersweet mocha. If I can find another case of this, I might just buy it, for dinners with the in-laws, as the enjoy wine, but the higher priced stuff is pretty much lost on them. This stuff and CdR are perfect for them, and me.

February 10, 2015 - 3.5 Yep, I still contend Washington beats out any other state in the Union dollar for dollar - - values reside in Washington. For $6,I am drinking a nicely balanced cab - merlot blend with medium - minus body, minimal tannins, plenty of pleasing blue and red fruit, and gentle oak influence (vanilla). It is not the stuff of greatness, but it is darn tasty for the price.

February 6, 2015 - exclent qpr with ripe cab franc fruit balancing the deep cherry and leather from the Merlot. This lasted four days just sitting in the fridge with cork after glass, and until day fourit continued to stay right. Day four it was a little tired withoizzabut washed down the cheese and sauce covered dough. Great value.
