November 3, 2022 - Charleston Offlineorama VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Various locations): Always fun to see the port tongs appear. Open for 2 or 3 hours, and could have used even more time. Delicious, coats the tongue. Fig, acid. Lovely middle aged port

November 3, 2022 - Charleston VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Very small pour for me because unlike the rest of the wine we were drinking this can give you a pretty nasty hangover and I was working the next morning. Had been opened and decanted since the beginning of dinner so probably like 3 hours and of course it's still super super young. I think if you buy port you should be buying for grandchildren and not even children. It's tasty.

December 17, 2021 - Holy schnikes! A wine this old should not be this alive. Acid is still vey much hanging in there. Holiday fruit pie (vanilla, hints of berry) with dashes of chocolate, earth and caramel. Definitely has time left, but can't imagine it getting any better.

Light colour with a faint nose. Wonderful mature soft palate. Nice.

December 7, 2013 - not so good of a bottle, very light, high alcohol burn

(Dow Porto Vintage) Bricked light medium cherry red color with ruby lights and light tan meniscus; oxidized, dirty, VA, tart orange nose; not as bad on palate as nose would indicate, but attenuated, cherry, cherry syrup, ripe raspberry palate; medium finish
