December 9, 2021 - Paarsrood in het glas. Bramen in de mond. Hij blijft lekker lang hangen. Aardige combi bij de salade.met zwarte bonen tempeh met gerookte paprika.

February 21, 2020 - Paars-rood, bramen, mooie pinot noir. Die gaat straks bij de tonijn.

April 1, 2017 - 13.5% alcohol. Shortish cork of moderate density. Light colour with little sign of evolution. The nose is pleasantly aromatic with red berry aromas. The same berries turn up I the mouth which is definitely high-pitched and somewhat thin, even for a Sancerre. This is disappointing given the vintage, but on the other hand the wine is in perfect condition, which is more that what can be said of the Vacheron "La Belle Dame" of the same vintage which I had recently in a restaurant and which was past its best.
This is not one of my regular suppliers of Sancerre, and it is unlikely to become one based on this experience (and previous ones), but there is no denying that this is a competently made wine.

As this is my 100-th note on Cellar-Tracker, I think that it is appropriate to record that I have yet to come across a corked wine; smallish sample, I know, but I will endeavour to update it as time goes by.

June 11, 2014 - I like this a lot, actually, it's as much a Loire red as it is a pinot noir, if you know what I mean. There's some tartness, sense of terroir, tart and leafy fruit, in a transparent expression. Fun to drink and classically styled.
