February 20, 2016 - Bright purple in color, this wine reveals blueberry, mint, sage and anise on the nose. The mouth feel brings more blue fruits and hints of almonds. The finish has bright acidity which integrates well with the fruit. 13% abv.

Purchased for $17US, this offering appears to see no wood as it is all about the fruit. Needs food to show better.

Imported by Petit Pois Corp. t/a Sussex Wine Merchants, Moorestown, NJ.

March 12, 2015 - Paitin with Giovanni Pasquero-Elia (Bin 75): Bright purple with lighter extraction; a little buttery on nose, wild berry, very purple fruit, dark cherry, tart, almost grapey like Gamay, some spice which may be stem though it is not green; soft texture, bright red and purple fruit, easy drinking, soft tannin; good.
