  December 7, 2016 - Nice fairly simple wine. Fairly light, drinking well. Can not expect much more for 13. Would buy again.

  August 18, 2015 - Reinforces that Portugal is making beautiful table wines at stellar QPR. A big bottling that walks daintily with food. Plum and anise, hint of game and toasted hazelnut. Body has more spice, green to brown to accompany a mix of black fruits. Deep color and development, medium tannins, medium finish. Drank well from the start, but was ideal 2-3 hours in with little assistance. Finished with red cherry, hint of red oak, hints of smoke. Great with a number of meats and vegetables. One of the best QPRs I've found in 2015.
