August 21, 2022 - Nice, but not really happening anymore. All the fruit is long gone.

April 12, 2020 - Soft nose. Soft pallet. Plum on the nose. We served with Ribeye and expected a boulder flavor. Could definitely serve this with chicken or fish. Hint of chocolate in taste. Good, but not our favorite L'Ecole.

June 22, 2019 - I really enjoyed this bottle, much better than the first bottle I had. It is drinking really well now. Nice dark fruit, balanced acidity with fine tannins, satisfying finish. Paired great with a grilled steak.

April 26, 2019 - This is a terrific example of Walla Walla Washington Merlot.
Nose: Blackberries, with dark chocolate nibs and hint of spearmint.
Palate: Black plum, hazlenut chocolate, old leather, black olives and a hint of spearmint. This wine has med+ tannins, med. acidity, a nice round mouthfeel and a long finish.

April 13, 2019 - Pretty standard lecole offering (yum). Maybe peaked last year? Still good minerals and red mountain lusciousness.
