October 8, 2022 - Dark red to a transparent rim. Nose of black truffle, cherry, green fig very light herbaciousness. Palate is cranberry fruit with raspberry jam, medium weight, jam on the medium finish. Medium to light weight and balanced. What a wine!

January 8, 2022 - About as good as zin can get. Pure, delicious fruit with great aromatics and balance. Carlisle's 2012 zins are fantastic now.
