February 12, 2015 - 91 on the first day, and maybe 89 on the second. Nevertheless, this is exactly what a zin should be. Graphite, spice, and fruit. Delightful.

January 23, 2015 - Decanted for two hours. Vanilla, stir fry, cassis, charcoal and white pepper. Wonderful cashmere texture and, a very long, syrupy finish. Masculine in body and feminine during the episodic finish. For the cellar; for the table. Mazzocco, which is owned by the Wilson family, is becoming one of my favorite producers in Headldsburg. Watch this space. Drink now - 2025.

November 13, 2014 - Fantastic in every way. Dark fruit, graphite, and greatness. If you were to describe the ideal Zin, this would be it.
