November 4, 2004 - Wow, what a nice fragrant merlot with a wonderful finish. The nose is very forward and rich, textured, with dark fruit and coffee grounds. Oak is present in the background, but not all overpowering. The finish is smooth and medium in length and finishes at the very end with a hint of kirsch. Overall, I'm impressed with this wine.
