January 21, 2023 - Final bottle from a 6 pack. No formal TN, lightish in body, tobacco and soil-driven flavors alongside sour, dried cherries.
Feminine, lean, with still grippy tannins and puckering acids on the earthy finish. Drink up IMHO. A nice, mature Nebbiolo.

March 3, 2022 - Penultimate of 6 bottles, last consumed about 1.5 yrs ago.
This is ready to go and should be consumed now IMHO.
Old leather, tobacco leaf, a hint of sour cherry, anise, wet rocks.
Nice and finely grained tannins with bitter acidity that is nicely puckering on the soil-driven finish.
    Drink now.

October 28, 2020 - 4th of 6 bottles. Bright sour cherry, unripened plum, mint, espresso grounds, and minerals.
Some dried tobacco leaf, dusty leather, and wet soil.
Super tense tannins and energetic acidity. with a long and bitter, delicious finish.
    Drink now through 2025+.

August 25, 2020 - Drank over a few days. Initially there was a faint note of oxidation on the palate and the boquet that concerned me that the wine might be past peak. That resolved, and the wine is a good entry level Valtellina red. Plummy, balsamy, good acid, very typical Valtellina notes and altogether enjoyable and thought inducing. But I don't see it getting any better from here.

    August 1, 2020 - 3rd of 6 bottles. Last tasted 1 yr ago.
Developing, tart cherry and raspberry fruit, with menthol, pepper, tobacco leaf, forest floor, and orange rind.
Light ont he palate, with fairly brisk acidity and fine tannins that are easy to drink and delicious overall in the finish.
    Drink now through 2023+.
