February 22, 2016 - Terribly dry, crumbled cork so I had low hopes, but the wine is sound! Gorgeously youthful ruby red. Haunting Volnay aromas with haunted spider webs, violets and cherry juice. Full, meaty palate with a sticky sappy density. Quite complex flavors of iron, beef, tomato juice, cherry liqueur, and warm damp earth. Decently long finish. No hurry to drink.

March 2, 2013 - Nice showing, mostly red berries, a mineral stoney spine with some cool pine sap and a nice finish. Looking forward to the glass I saved, as this was served as a pop n' pour, and improved greatly over the 2 hours we followed it.

November 7, 2010 - A slight taste and nose of pepper. Dark red ruby in color. Musty smell to the nose. Slight acid on the finish. Probably ready at this time.
