February 5, 2022 - Second bottle I had in my life. The first was in 2007, and it was corked… this is the second, bought in an auction in this case; I suppose it has been preserved not properly and it has orange colour and the smell reminds to cork and Marsala smell. Tannins are very low and acidity is important and gives a lingering persistence. It is incredible how the in mouth this wine is quite drinkable, despite the nose and the color.

October 25, 2021 - This is cool. Drinking really well right now, super fresh. Very bright acidity.

October 1, 2021 - This opened with copper and red fruit, and sharp acidity. It unfolded nicely with air gaining body with time. This has a narrow profile, with blood, metal, red fruit overlayed on leather. Medium body. Nice.

November 12, 2020 - Improved tremendously over time. Opened with lots of tannins and residual acidity. Nothing reflecting a Sangiovese. After a couple of hours it got much better and from there it only improved with time.
Delicate and complex. Opened a nose of violets and a taste of berries and earthy tones. Fantastic effort that scared me a lot for a while.
