  May 24, 2016 - The first vintage of this wine, from a 9 hectare plot in the Contrada Samperi, limestone and sand, 100% Grillo, harvested early ("vigna verde"), fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on the fine lees for six months, 11.5% ABV. At three years of age, this is drinking beautifully. Pale white golden colour with a green tinge; wonderfully fresh and salty nose, complex, apple and green olive, green herbs, grass and citrus, good depth; the palate has crisp acidity and citrus fruit (lime, unripe lemon), tight and linear, intense but light as a feather, mineral core, real tension; slightly reduced finish, good length.

  tipical Grillo scent, with light oxidation
  slightly bitter, fresh and a little bit tasty
  balanced with tendency to acidity

  September 21, 2014 - Vinoblesse Wine Tasting (Ernst Sillem Hoeve, Den Dolder, NL): Like the Lucido 2013, not an obvious wine, with subtle notes of nuts and peach, pure and airy, mineral, balanced and precise.
