  September 30, 2019 - This wine was quite oxidized. Beyond the oxidation, there was a bit of golden fruit, and nothing else to redeem the bottle. This was purchased recently from Liquor Boy in Minneapolis. Likely heat-damaged.

  March 2, 2019 - Drank this a BYOB Vietnamese restaurant in central Massachusetts. Starting to show its age, pours a dark color. The nose had a pretty hefty dose of oak and heat. The palate if medium bodied, rich creamy buttery texture, but also substantial alcohol on the tail end. Felt a bit disjointed and also a lot of the fruit characteristics are gone suggesting to me that this wine is past its prime.

  August 23, 2017 - Compared 3 bottles of 2013 to a single bottle of 2015 - latter is gorgeous with crisp and complex citrus fruit up front and a finish of granite and flint - simply beautiful and an outstanding chablis/burgundian style chardonnay. Each of the 3 bottles of 2013 is variably corked with an unappealing nose and dank/musty finish - the 2013 bottles we sampled are a waste of money that reflects poorly on the 2015 release.

  June 1, 2017 - Very clear with a hint of straw color on rim of glass. Well balanced acidity with aromas of pear and lemon. Crispy tastes of pear with a hint of oak. Was expecting more from a Heitz bottle. For a napa Chardonnay I found this bottle to be very weak, thin and lacking in many of the elements I love from this region. That being said, it is still a refreshing bottle that I probably should have saved for the hotter summer months.
