Rich, powerful, complex, earthy, fruity, long finish.

October 21, 2022 - Not showing signs of age yet
Beautiful red on the eye. ripe black cherries on the nose. Dense cherries on the palate, a bit dusty.
Has a few more years in it, no hurry. -

April 18, 2022 - Drunk over two nights. First night it was unfairly up against an (also delicious) Napa fruit explosion (Staglin Salus Cabernet) which I think masked the wines more subtle characteristics. On its own it was a beauty and especially after a night left in the bottle. Smooth and silky wine with great Bordeaux style fruit profile without the earthiness. Right on point with 10 years of age but plenty left in the tank and possibly some additional layers complexity to come down the line. Shame I don’t have more 2012 but do have a 2018 Magnum to enjoy (no time soon).

November 28, 2021 - Nice wine with lush fruit, good depth and complexity and smooth finish. Drank even better on day 2.
