April 14, 2019 - Wow! Great wine for $16! Big, earthy, moderately big tannins. Good with steak. Could be a great pairing with hearty pasta dishes. Buy more if you can find it!

March 22, 2015 - Open about 6 hours: Great sense of depth on the nose, offering sour cherry, licorice, leather and spice. The mouth feel is soft with age but with some good intensity left. Finish is smooth and long. Drink now in my opinion.

February 2, 2015 - This wine was big and fresh. At 9 years old it felt like this was just hitting its stride with many more years ahead of it. All the typical great sangiovese flavors like sour cherry etc. were present. $16 bones for an 06' this good was well worth it.
