April 16, 2024 - Still very pleasant - maybe not what it once was (neither am I, are you?) but you will enjoy this with dinner. Still a bit of fruit, good color, food friendly acidity. Always delighted with these old bits of history.

September 19, 2023 - Still got it going on - cork is solid, minimal sediment, color is still solid, just starting to oxidize. Just out of the bottle no real funk but no fruit yet either. Decanted, waiting for it to open

September 6, 2023 - Definitely shows some funk when it opens but that blew off with slow ox. Fruit here is lean but expressive.

April 30, 2023 - Classic aged nose, with earth and leather. Perhaps slightly lean, but still some dark fruit to be found. Opened at home but not decanted; I thought this showed better with a little air in glass. Very enjoyable, even if it was outclassed by a couple other bottles this evening.
