  February 6, 2022 - Not showing especially well, and a pain in the neck to drink. Opened on Saturday night, and it was incredibly tight. Recorked the bottle, and saved until tonight. Uncorked at 1 pm today and poured into a decanter at 4 pm. Drank at 9 pm, and it was still tight! Not showing well. Very disappointing for the price.
  
  Excellent length, with bright raspberry, cherry, tobacco and leather.

  January 26, 2022 - Many at the table drank this blind. Not very Brunello like but oh so good. Lots of Pomerol calls - while I think this makes sense given the flavors it has a core that hints to Brunello. Really good right now.

  October 20, 2018 - Wine Spectator newbies; 10/18/2018-10/20/2018 (Marriott Marquis): Finally - in a vertical that had '04, '97, '90 this was the first wine that I felt like was truly in drinking window. The different pieces are well integrated. There's some secondary flavors coming through (leather and a bit more earthiness) in addition to the red fruits and hint of tomato. Makes for a much more interesting wine. My favorite of the group.

  May 6, 2018 - It was hard to open, waiting 20 hrs then finally came!
  Uncorked 8 hrs and still lacking nose...cork back then uncork again after 10 hrs
  Further 2 hrs of uncorking can really reveal its beauty!
  Nose with forests ,mint, gamy nose.
  Palate was full, creamy , dark fruit, forest , tea, just a bit high in acidity in the finishing made me wonder if it was vintage conditions.
