October 29, 2022 - Really nice, smooth tannins. Fruit forward.

February 5, 2019 - Super spicy and intense after first aerating and decanting. Then after about an hour it smoothed out nicely. Notes of intense pepper and spice initially, then bold dark fruit, primarily plum.

November 13, 2017 - In Comparison with BJAMESCLARK: The blend is as said, Scents are deep, rich and concentrated showing a mix of blackberry liquor, blueberry compote, with a mix of licorice & road tar, the palate is inky but medium to a bit full, rich in fruit, with a bit of tartness, which hinders the finish flowing smoothly to the end.
90-92 giving a few years to work that tartness off. BTW, there is no way that this is an 84 or 85 point wine.

    7/3/2017 - BJAMESCLARK WROTE: 90 Points
61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Petite Sirah, 5% Merlot and 3% Malbec.
    Decanted.
Scents are deep, rich and concentrated showing a mix of blackberry liquor, blueberry compote, marionberry, plum and boysenberry that bring in tow notes of violets, licorice, graphite, vanilla, oak and fig newton.
The palate is just as big and inky showing a dense, rich fruit profile of blueberry, blackberry, fig and boysenberry all on the reduced side with notes of black licorice, chocolate, vanilla, violet pastilles, graphite and toasty oak that pull through the finish where the ripe tannins and juicy berry acidity linger.
    Overal... Solid
