January 16, 2016 - Nose of plum, violets, blackberry & raspberry fruits and campfire / burnt - flinty component. Medium+ bodied - fruit that is a touch too extracted but balanced and seamless. Touch of green bell pepper on the finish that is displeasing.

January 26, 2015 - Rich fruit, sweet cherries, very ripe on the nose. Hints of spices with overwhelming fruit character. Really intense, rather heavy, spicy, a tad bitter. Well made, but not my preferred style of wine. 87-89
