March 25, 2022 - Deeply colored and mature. Notes of fig, lemon curd and ripe melon. Rich, buttery and mature. With air the fruit becomes much more tropical in nature, with hints of ripe banana.

January 12, 2019 - $25 off the club's list replacing the oxidized Saint Aubin. Notes of apple, coconut and banana with subtle oak undertones. The oak is a bit more prominent on the palate, lending a good bit of toast, but there's nice fruit to balance it out. 89+ for me, 90-91 for Domino.

October 29, 2015 - Lunch at the Bubble Room - J Vineyards (Sonoma, CA): Smells of baked pears, bright green and yellow apples, hints of sea salt mix with a sweet vanilla and honey. Creamy on the body with lovely richness yet bright acid for balance keeps the wine together. Lovely pears and baked apple, dusted with nougat, honeycomb, almond and vanilla. Smooth and silky finish. A richer style but stays bright and offers a good dose of complexity.
