February 15, 2022 - Bandon Dunes PTI: 2012 Oregon Pinots; 2/14/2022-2/15/2022 (Bandon Dunes Resort): No formal notes. Not a show stopper, but very nice among friends in a resort room after golf! Nearing end of plateau.

August 11, 2019 - This was an OK Pinot, but did not knock my socks off an any way. It was pleasant tasting but that is about it. Short dry finish. A the price point that Ponzi is at, there are many other Pinots I would go to first.

July 7, 2019 - Good structure and ripe black cherry fruit flavors with a touch of spice and dried herbs. Subtle aromas of lavender and rosemary. A bit hollow mid palate. A bit past its prime.

June 16, 2019 - A little over a year since I last tasted this wine. Its still elegant, flavorful and complex; everything youd expect and hoped to find in a high end Oregon Pinot Noir. Its beginning to show a touch of decline but so what, its still makes for wonderful drinking. If I had anymore they wouldnt be any better than this one; but not an issue as this my last bottle.

September 23, 2017 - This is a tough wine to rate because it is clearly very well made, but it is really anonymous among $40-60 new world pinot and a bit of a dubious value. Bright and fruit driven, nice integration of new oak, decent structure... could this be from the Santa Rita Hills, Russian River, Sonoma, Yarra Valley? I liked it and wouldn't be unhappy to have it again, but the most memorable characteristic is somewhere between "good" and "correct".
