October 1, 2014 - Worked great in cooking a chicken piccata and in pairing with it. Clean, crisp floral minerality.
From the relatively new Lison Classico DOCG, the grape is what was formerly called Tocai Friulano (but can no longer be called that in the EU with Hungary winning a ruling against it), but can now be called "Tai" or "Tai Bianco", or - if it comes from Lison DOCG - can be called "Lison". By ampelography it is a Bordelais white grape called Sauvignonasse, though it is nearly extinct there, and the Italians never refer to it as such.
