May 25, 2011 - Jammy it is, more so as it opens up.

November 15, 2010 - with all due respect to mr. rosenblum, who is supposed to be thee cali zin guru, this is not my favorite style for this varietal. i have to agree with other tasters that it is overly sweet. also, i cannot dignify it by making apologetic statements about it being port-like. even if it had been labeled as a semi-sweet product, i would not purchase it as a substitute for port. sent to the chef to glaze a chicken.

April 20, 2009 - plum nose, white pepper, citrusy, overly sweet, overly jammy/fruity

April 6, 2008 - Not your typical zin. Could be overripe and not much spice but still an enjoyable wine.

January 19, 2008 - Fruit forward, jammy, port-like. Definitely not for everyone, but I like this style from time-to-time.
