February 13, 2018 - Deep crystalline ruby color. Expressive nose of sweet cherry lifts from glass upon opening. Palate is smooth, vibrant cherry, almost candied, young Burgundy-like mocha, hint of licorice, smooth acidity. Some drying tannins after 30 minutes. Seems at peak.

June 17, 2017 - Much better bottle than 3 months ago. Crystalline ruby color. Bright red fruits on nose and palate. Smooth acidity, no tannins, very balanced. Light to medium bodied. Perfect with antipasto or pasta with a fresh tomato sauce.

May 19, 2017 - Deep ruby with pink rim. Less fruit and acid than prior bottles. A bit of drying tannins for complexity as soon as poured. Well balanced. Can last but probably won't in my cellar.

March 24, 2017 - Medium deep ruby with pink glints. More acid than tannin. Slippery legs on glass and mouth. Not much better than young CdR. Seems shut down. Update: decanted overnight. Much better. Smooth, balanced light bodied red, refreshing acidity, sour cherry, drying tannins. Can last I think 4-5 years more, easily.
