September 25, 2018 - Much more enjoyable than I remembered/experienced last time. Dark fruit, savoury, full, earthy. Some age showing, but still nice dusty tannic finish that really lasts.

November 19, 2016 - spicy cranberry; tart yet with some red fruit. Feels full in the mouth, nicely balanced and nice length, finishing dry. Not overtly delicious, but classy and enjoyable.

February 2, 2016 - Really nice. Opens nicely after an hour. Strong alcohol

May 20, 2015 - Vintage Select Industry Tasting - Firehouse in the Heights: Nose of blueberry, blackberry, bell pepper, tobacco, and cherry. On the palate, very nice with all of the varieties mixing well with blueberry, olive, bell pepper, sour cherry, and black fruits. Long finish with lots of grip. Should drink very well for quite a while.

January 15, 2015 - Definitely worth the tariff. Currant, blueberry, herbs, cola on the nose. Definitely getting the mixture of Syrah and Bdx varieties. A lot of finesse to the palate, tastes gravelly for lack of a better word. Lovely structure, mid-weight, though mid-palate doesn't totally 'pop'. Finish has tar, herbs, and dark fruit. Showed a hint of dried fruit towards the last glass, but in sum a very classy wine, not the typical oaky, grassy, black fruit liqueur style from Chile.
