November 5, 2023 - Dark purple center with a light purple rim. The nose was packed with youthful, dark cherry and blackberry initially with cedar and vanilla as supporting notes. On the palate, with wine displayed intense dark fruit coupled with a subtle oak influence of vanilla and cedar. Although this was full-bodied, the acidity gave this wine vibrancy and character. Overall, this was a great effort from Jeff Ames, and I look forward to opening another at the 20 year mark.

September 6, 2022 - Quite good, drinking well. Lots of raisin with the fruit. Benefits from air. Smooth, nice finish.
