May 20, 2021 - PnP. Took an hour to come around. Brilliant. Wish I’d been more patient. As is often the case, the last glass was mesmerizing. With roasted chicken.

January 17, 2016 - Decanted for 1.5 hr. A-beautiful open aromas of red and black cherries, some sous bois, bark and earth, some green veggies. P-just spoke black cherries, some sous earth, dark veggie broth, bark, green peppers, w grippy tannins in midpalate midpalate. Nice balancing acids. F-red fruit and earth, sous bois. A hint of alcohol on finish. Really nice and pleasurable but Very young.

November 19, 2015 - Extremely bright nose, with high-toned red fruit, subtle earthy notes with a smokiness, but the acidity really comes through even on the nose. The palate was wound up tight to start, but opened up after a few hours in the decanter. Vibrant notes that border citrus favors of blood orange and mandarin, tart red cherry and pomegranate. I like this style but it may not be for everyone.

August 7, 2015 - My first Jura -- had more fruit than I was expecting, especially upon opening, when the finish was acidic to the point of feeling almost grapefruit-like in effect. After an hour, it mellowed and it went incredibly well with a melon-and-feta salad, pulled pork sandwiches and lamb chops.

February 15, 2015 - Drinking quite clean. Good floral notes on a lightweight frame. Slightly earthy with a good acidic snap. Very nice pair with a cheeseburger at DBGB.
