January 5, 2017 - Drink it now. It may have peaked already, but what a NOSE!!! Huge, deep chocolate hints on the cork! Further nosing brought out fresh cinnamon and loads more chocolate!! This is not a jam bomb, and the taste was a bit flat after the teasing the nose had done. This wine definitely needs a good 45min-1hr to decant properly. I tried a little every 10-15 min and it was tasting better and better as it was allowed to open (bummed bad I didn't decant 45min then start tasting). Overall this was a pleasant drink and it had my senses working overtime.

May 15, 2015 - Clear pale garnet. Fig, cedar, plum. Low acids, medium to high tannins licorice, anise. Short balanced finish.
