Community Tasting Notes 2

March 13, 2015 - Pale yellow on the glass. Nose is inviting and exciting with apple, fresh garden flowers and tarragon. In the mouth the attack is fresh and then the richness takes over with apple fruit coming through but with a nutty edge to it. This has lots of elegance and complexity which you don't expect to get from a £14 bottle of burgundy. Well done the Wine Society!

October 18, 2014 - pale yellow with a hint of green
nose is gently toasty, actually mealy rather than strictly toasty. Perhaps toasted oats
Initially very fresh clean and lemony with mouth-watering acidity
There's richness here too, a lovely savoury nuttiness starts to build and lingers a while.
A subtle wine that gets more interesting with each sip. Really rather fine
    Super value at £14
