April 2, 2006 - Burrell School is located just up the hill from our place in Santa Cruz. This is the first bottle out of our 7 year Burrell School Cab Franc vertical running from 1997 to 2003. The 97 has aged well with the color a very light brick red. Explosive nose that smelled exactly like carmalized or brandied cherries. Very interesting. Earth and spice tones on the palate.
