Community Tasting Notes 12

January 12, 2011 - Drank with spicy shrimp stir-fry. Light straw color. Open nose of pear, peach and a whiff of wild flowers. Crisp, juicy palate of ripe peach, apple, minerals, and vanilla. Refreshing acidity. A trace of sweetness. Good length. Very good value-priced Chablis.

July 29, 2010 - In correctly published this is a note for the 2008, now publishing as the 2006 - Citrus, green apple, peach stones. Medium weight and intensity. For my taste, a little bitter and pithy, but, still a nice wine for a summer afternoon on the deck.

January 31, 2010 - A solid Chablis, white fruit with hint of minerality, good balance. Not particularly complex.

January 5, 2010 - Faint nose of lime and chalk. Lemon, lime, mineral.. classic Chablis character. Crisp, with a lingering smoky finish. Very good value!

November 26, 2009 - Very nice Chablis. Good minerality and acid to pair with dinner. Paired with butternut squash soup with fig quennells. The backbone of the wine stood up well and cut through the thickness of the soup.
