Community Tasting Notes 1

February 28, 2016 - Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of youthful, ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, raspberries & currants with overtones of floral, dusty & spice notes, truffles, earthy, minerals, smoky & hints of sous-bois. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced and smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, strawberries & red currant with earthy, mushrooms, spices & minerals. Lingering silky finish. Differently will get better with (and needs) time, but is presently accessible with decanting & extended airing.
