  April 7, 2007 - Good but unexciting. Simple black cherry fruit, some warm spices, pepper, etc. That's about it. Expected more intensity, but I guess I'll stick with their Knotty Vine label. This one could be a little tired as well.
  After checking my notes, this is the second tasting of this wine. I liked better than before, but again not exciting.

  March 11, 2006 - Deep color of black cherry that offers a simple nose of black cherries and sweet oak. The palate is attacked with tight, firm tannins, oak and weak fruit. Short, flabby finish. Poor attempt at an inexpensive Zin.
