  October 15, 2022 - Absolutely clean as a whistle. Showing Margaret River coolness and with the primary fruit having just integrated. This will kick on for another decade.

  July 27, 2022 - This is a quite outstanding example of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. Dense purple colour, looking quite youthful despite 10 years of age. Aromoa of ripe boysenberry with mint, but none of the gummy character that is apparent in Cab Sav from other parts of Australia. Great balance and progression in the mouth: flavours of aniseed and ripe berryfruit build through the middle palate, and then fade gracefully into a lingering, velvety finish. Understated elegance is a marker for this very classy wine. Not too many wines we drink make the grade as outstanding, but this is one.

  January 31, 2022 - A deep crimson robe in the glass promises well. The nose is powerfully redolent of cedar, ribena and blackberry with a hint of mint. The palate is a blackberry explosion with well integrated tannin and acid support. Different to Coonawarra Cabernet and increasingly my preferred area for superior Cabernet in Australia. Great with a food steak dish.

  May 22, 2020 - This one has been sitting in my cellar gathering dust for the past 4 years. A cabernet from the well renowned Margaret River in Western Australia. At 14% it's not going to do much damage on this cold Friday evening
  
  A cabernet from this region would normally show some blackcurrent and herbs. This meets the brief quite sufficiently. Slight brown tinge around the ring is evidence of its age. Slightly acidic and that blackcurrent palate with a hint of oak. Pleasant without being a superstar.
