January 29, 2022 - fully mature now. Nicely balanced dark cherries, some hints of age on the nose.
Slowly finish up any remaining bottles. -

December 10, 2021 - after a two hour decant:
Inviting nose, indicating a sweet wine.
Mouth of sweet cherries, with some acidity remaining, some alcoholic heat. Not overly complex but long lasting.
Does not evolve to 92-93 as I thought three years ago, but that relates more to my preferences shifting to less powerful wines with lower alcohol. -

June 21, 2019 - Tasted blind. Heavy on animal flavours, wet dog (not in a bad way), ripe fruit ,some menthol. Mouthcoating tannings. Full body but balance is not ideal and lacking a bit acidity to scale back the other levers.
